Art Snake, a Pike County native who now resides in Louisville,
is a passionate expressionist artist.
His self taught style, influenced by Picasso, Chagall and Klee, has been called
outsider art
but he just calls it raw and primitive
.
Jimmie Plowman, also a native Kentuckian, lives in Fleming County and is a juried member of the Kentucky Craft Marketing Program.
Jimmie hand-crafts unique rustic furniture using weathered and aged planks he removes from old barns throughout Kentucky.
