The first group of paintings, on this site, represents about a year and a half's work.
Each of the women (and one man) is a friend of mine (if they weren't before, they became intimate friends during the process of photographing, talking and painting).
They are all artists; Visual, writers, dancers and a filmmaker.
The man is a sculptor, photographer, political activist.
I am grateful to all of these people who so graciously gave me complete freedom to paint their images.

Although I have mostly been doing figurative work in the last few years,
many people asked me if I would do some landscapes again... so I took the
opportunity to paint 8 landscapes, 2 streetscenes and a cityscape.
